  1. Overview StatusKeep ("we," "the App") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles and how.
  2. Data Stored Locally on Your Device All information you enter into the App — including your immigration status, goals, dates, document checklist, and preferences — is stored ONLY on your device using local storage. This data is never transmitted to, or stored on, any server operated by us. We do not have access to this data, and we cannot see, recover, or restore it if lost.
  3. What We Do NOT Collect We do not require account creation or login. We do not collect your name, email address, or other personal identifiers. We do not use advertising SDKs, analytics trackers, or third-party data-sharing tools. We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
  4. Network Requests The App makes a small number of network requests: (a) fetching a publicly available list of immigration policy update alerts (no personal data is sent with this request); (b) opening external links you tap (e.g., IRCC, ServiceOntario) in your device's browser; (c) processing in-app purchases through Google Play or the App Store, which is governed by Google's or Apple's own Privacy Policy.
  5. In-App Purchases Purchases of optional content packs (PGWP Pack, PR Pack, Citizenship Pack) are processed entirely by Google Play Billing or App Store payment systems. We do not receive or store your payment information. Please refer to Google Play's or Apple's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle payment data.
  6. Notifications If you enable reminders, notifications are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device using the device's local notification system. No reminder data is sent to any server.
  7. Data Deletion You may delete all data stored by the App at any time via Settings → "Reset All Data." Uninstalling the App also removes all locally stored data.
  8. Children's Privacy The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
  9. Changes to This Policy We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by an updated "Last updated" date.
