JustGo ("the App") is a focus tool designed for people with ADHD. This Privacy Policy explains what data the App collects, how it is used, and your rights regarding that data.
Spoken task input (microphone): The App uses your device's speech recognition to convert spoken words into text. Audio is processed on-device or by the operating system's speech API (iOS: Apple, Android: Google). We do not record, store, or transmit your audio.
Anonymous usage data (Firebase): The App uses Firebase (Google LLC) for the "Start Together" room feature. You are assigned a random anonymous ID automatically — no name, email, or device identifier is linked to it. This ID is used only to count how many users are active in a room at the same time. It is not shared with third parties.
Local preferences: Focus session history, streak count, notification time, and landing notes are stored exclusively on your device using the system's local storage (SharedPreferences). We have no access to this data.
Microphone access is used solely to let you speak your tasks aloud. The App does not record audio. Speech-to-text is handled by the device OS or its built-in APIs. You can deny microphone permission — the App will then offer a text input alternative.
The App may send local notifications ("knock") to remind you to start focusing. These are scheduled entirely on your device. No notification content or timing is transmitted to any server.
No personal data is stored on our servers. Anonymous Firebase IDs expire automatically. Local data is deleted when you uninstall the App or clear App storage on your device.
JustGo is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy. Changes are effective when posted on this page. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
